Dear All,

I am simulating a valve using Ansys Fluent with Transient conditions. I am using a profile which has velocity values. To incorporate this, I have read the profile and selected the *.prof file from Fluent toolbar.

My main aim is to update that profile every 5s. Once it is updated, it means that the velocity profile has been changed from the last profile.

Can anyone tell me what is the procedure to do that.

I have tried to update the *.prof file but it did not have any effect on the solution because once Ansys Fluent has read the file, it does not read again (I think).

Can anyone sheds a light on this topic.
