Lean swirled premixed combustion methane air

Hi,
I'm trying to reproduce a paper in which a lean, swirled, premixed combustion of air and natural gas is done. A annulus leads the mixture into a combustion chamber. Most parameters are the same as in the paper except, for instance, that I use RANS whereas they use LES. The problem is that 1) my flame reaches the outer walls, whereas it should be near the axis, 2) turbulent kinetic energy is half of what I should have 3) swirl velocity in the combustion chamber is 1/3 of what I sould have. Any help will be very appreciated ! |
