Exporting ANSYS mesh to FLUENT

I created a 3D model in ANSYS 9 with elements 142-143 i.e. it is a 4 layer structure. I first subtracted all layers from an air domain. one layer has to be a porous layer , therefore I created this layer again inside the emptied place to retain the volume and treat it as porous in FLUENT. The problem is: After I exported and opened it in FLUENT, The layers are completely there. But there is only one zone instead of 4. Therefore I can not give initial values via patching temperatures, because the zones are not there. How can I manage this, can naybody help? regards
