Hi,
This is a basic question about FLUENT, how can I monitor the force value that I obtain from REPORT-->FORCES-->WALL. I tried SOLVE-->MONITORS-->FORCE-->WALL, but this monitors the drag coefficient. Do you have any suggestions? If a UDF is needed, can you give me a sample UDF. |

If you set the reference values in report--> reference values so that F=0.5*density *area* velocity^2*CD then the two methods will give the same thing. Hence setting density to 2, area to 1 and velocity to 1 will do exactly this. This will not affect the solution values only the way the coefficient if calculated.
