Defining a zone

Hello, I need to define a zone from a number of cells, the zone geometry is not a regular one rather an aglomeration of cells.

Could I define the zone if I have a list of cells in a file ?

Thanks.

In icemcfd you can assign different cells to diffenrent zones using a variety of selection methods. Im sure gambit offers similar functionality.

Thanks, this is corect Gambit offers the posibility to define a zone from a face, I already use this trick. The problem is you have to define lot of faces and after that the mesh is not loking very good at the face interfaces, this is a serious problem.

You can use TGrid to rezone faces to a zone.
