3D wing study

Hello,

I am quite novice in the 3D analysis and I am trying to carry out a 3D analysis of a twisted NACA 0009.

My question is: I don't want to study any fuselage or attachment to my wing, can I just put a plan at the root of the wing and put a Non-slip boundary condition or symmetric condition ? Which condition is the best ?

Thank you, hope you could help

Regards

Do you know any on-line tutorial about a 3D wing study and above all meshing ?

Many thanks

Re: 3D wing study

Actually I would have preferred the same kind of tutorial but with the creation of a structured mesh, which is not the case with this tutorial.

Could someone help me please, I need to mesh (structured mesh) 3D twisted wing based on NACA 0009 ?

Thanks a million for your precious help !

Re: 3D wing study

the simplest method would be to follow the cornell tutorial which is easily accesible from google, and then carry out a volume>sweep function in GAMBIT, similar to the method carried out in the tutorial which i gave you.
