I imported a large mesh from gambit. I think it still works and made it in alright but I got this warning:

"thread 60 has 5 contiguous regions"

any ideas what this means?

thanks

it means that in a volume, you have a face that separate you volume.

for example: u have a pipe (set as one volume). the pipe is created by two half circular volume. then the common face of this half circular will make fluent confuse. it's like you tell fluent that the pipe (1/2 circular +1/2 circular) is one volume, but you have a common face between this cylinder that makes them looks like two separate volume.

sorry, i don't have a drawing to explain
