i am simulating a supersonic flow (1.71 mach, laminar) in 2-D cavity. I used couple-implicit scheme. When i am using 1st order upwind, the vortices are not being captured int eh cavity nor the shocks. but when i go for 2nd order upwind, after some 5000 itterations, the message " temperature and pressure limited to ....." and then "divergence detected-temporarily reducing the CFL no..." and finally showing the error "Floating point error". Can sombody help me please....
