Why Contours not display in turb. flow over Cyl.?

Hi to all,

I am trying to model turbulent flow over cylinder at Re= 3900 in 2D. I found good drag coefficient (0.9) but the contours of stream function or velocity or pressure doesn't demonstrated the vortex shedding in the wake. For your information, I give the parameters used: 2D-unsteady-seregeted solver, K-ebsilon turbulence model, enhanced wall treatment, PISO, time step size=.01, max iter. per time step=20,BC-Velocity inlet-periodic-wall-pressure outlet etc. What's the wrong with me? Please help me if you have any experience.

Could be any number of things...

ke often over predicts the turbulent viscosity.

You have to systematically evaluate all possible sources of disagreement.

try K-epsilon realizable model
