Hi,
I am not solving a laminar flow problem. In that do surface roughness value matters? Since I am under predicting the pressure loss value in a system? Where to input the surface roughness, I am not finding any place in wall BC. Thanks |

In the Wall boundary conditions Panel.

Surface roughness have NO influence on pressure drop at all in laminar flow. It is only Reynolds dependent: dP = rho * 64/Re * L/D * ½*V^2 -Dr. Flow Squad http://tinyurl.com/2gkjh8

Hi
You can specify roughness height and roughness constant in the walls BC panel |

Hi AAA, You can see the message of Dr. Flow Squad. The flow is laminar. Chouaib
