Hi Ricky,
Basically TGrid is much better than Gambit because it is designed purely for mesh generation. Gambit is a bit rough in places although it works very well. TGrid is very good for generating three-dimensional boundary layer grids by growing prismatic layers of cells off surfaces. You just can't do this using Gambit. It is more of an advanced mesh package but if you have the opportunity to use it, do so! Hope this helps, Carlos. P.S. Whats wrong with the link ck3 gave you? Its a good concise explanation of TGrid from the makers of it! |
