help with skewnesses

Default help with skewnesses

Hi

Can any one tell me what is the meaning of skewnesses because when I mesh the triangular 3D channel the edges and faces meshs ok but the volume is don't mesh and the fluent display an error message about the skewness.

I will appriciat any response

You should carefully set the mesh parameters on all geomerical faces.

Dear, skew or skewsness is statistical word, when you plot a gauss distribution of any variable, you can perform the skewness od the curve and it has a meaning to distingu between 2 distribution.

Thank you very much for your answer and effort.But when can I find the value of skewness in fluent or how can I change its value.please help me to resolve my problem to mesh the 3D triangular channel with dimensions in microns. with thanks
