Urgent Gambit help
 
Hi Please who can help me to meshing the trapezoidal 3D channel becaouse I canot meshing it .Note that the dimensions is in micron and the problem in meshing the volume since the edges and faces were meshed properly.

I will appreciat for any help

Hi

The micron dimensions shouldn't be a problem. Have you tried meshing the whole domain w/o starting with meshed faces?

I assume that since this is a channel, there would be two parallel faces for inlet and outlet. If so, use the "Cooper" scheme for this. Another way would be to start by meshing one of those faces only, then use the "size function" to mesh the whole domain.

I would like to inform you that .This way were not goin good with me and the volumes does nod meshed .Can you expalain the way in more details .Not that my geometry consists of three volumes two trapezoidal channels and one rectangular channel one obove the other which represent a heat exchanger :the first trapezoidal channel then rectangular wall then second trapezoidal channel.

Please I need some of your time to help me with this probles

Hi Rosol

If you have three volumes, you should be able to mesh them individually. If you can post your domain, I'd be happy to help.
