Hi Cyril, in 3d, forget the edges. You should pick all the surfaces surrounding your fuselage. Don't forget to enable the "Internal Continuity" in the BL options

Thanks mAx..
I tried to swap the edges BL by a face BL and enabled the "internal continuity" option..... and I got an error message: "Currently, 3D boundary layers are limited to flat face groups with the same boundary layer on all faces. A discontinuity has been found where one face has a boundary layer and the adjacent one does not." The problem comes from the edge in red on the picture. As you can see on it, the BL on face2 goes inside the profile which is strange... what do you think ? Thanks! |

you should attach your BL before you mesh your volume. Since your fuselage can be considered as several connected faces, I would create juste one BL in which attached faces are fuselage faces. Take care not including the symmetry faces in the BL. Once all connected surfaces are well attached, you should finally see the display of the BL just on the symetry plane, surrounding the outside contour of the fuselage on the symetry plane. I am not sure I've been clear

Yeah, you're clear enough I just don't know what is "attach BL" and how to do it. (when I create a BL, I just clic on BL and then I put all the fuselage faces in the list..)
