geometry optimization

Hi, does anybody have any experiences with geometry optimization. My preprocessor is Gambit. Could you recommend me any way how to get any instructions? Or do you know about any tutorial? My geometry is quite easy. I want to find the best location of the outlet that is dependent on the uniformity of outlet velocity field.
