Dear Friend

i am having one diffuculty in fluent.

Is it possible to patch the volume fraction (In VOF model) in every iteration or time step using udf.

Actually if we use DEFINE_INIT it is patching ok but it will be executed only at the time of initialisation.

Is it possible to use DEFINE_ADJUST or any other so that i can patch in every time step.

if it is possible to patch at every time step,I can patch the cell > Tvap as air.

thanking you

Marco

Hi Marco,

Instead of using udf for patching at every time step, you can use journal file which will patch the domains at every time step. You can see the fluent help to make the journal file.

It is more flexible and easy to use

hope it will help you

with warm regards, JSM
