Flamet Generation Problem

Hello,

I wanted to generate a flamelet library using fluent and got this strange error message:

Error: Failed to calculate stochiometric mixture fraction Error Object: ()

Could someone explain to me, what reasons lead to this error message?

Another question that always bothers me, when I define the scalar dissipation rate in order to generate the flamelet, does fluent use this dissipation rate in the whole mixture fraction space or is this just the stoichemtric scalar dissipation rate and the dissipation rate is modeled in the mixture fraction space?

Would be great, if someone answers this questions.

Have a nice day, FluentNub.

Re: Flamet Generation Problem

Fluent uses the peak temperature to calculate fsto, so the algorithm fails for isothermal chemistry.

And, yes, the specified scalar dissipation occurs only at this stochiometric location and is not constant in f space.
