Default Gradient of porosity

I have a packed bed with radial and axial variations in the porosity. I need the porosity gradient [d(epsilon)/dz] but couldn't find a function for it as there is for pressure gradient eg. (C_P_G(c,thread_l)[0])

Is there a way to do it apart from the first principle?
