Hi!
I need to model a hydrogen jet into a chamber with calm air. So basically it should be a gas-gas interaction, and, as I read from the manual, multiphase models can't be used for gas-gas problems. So how can I do it? Is there any tutorial? Moreover, do I have to create two separate zones for the nozzle from which the hydrogen comes in and for the ambient containing air?
Please help!

Hi, if the hydrogen is gaseous, you can model it with species transport, which is much easier than multiphase flow. You should understand why hydrogen and air (which by the way is in turn nitrogen mixed with oxygen ) in gas form can be considered a single phase . It has something to do with miscibility

Thanks for your answer, I suspected it can be considered a species transport problem. Anyway, do you have any tutorial to suggest? I don't know how to set the simulation from the design modeler to fluent. Do I have to set two 2D bodies, one for the nozzle and one for the ambient with calm air? Moreover, how can I tell fluent that the air in the ambient is calm?
Thank you!

Anyway, I think searching the combustion case in the youtube can be helpful for you
