Hi
We want to simulate a laminar pipe flow with our in-house code, but using a mesh created with GAMBIT (.msh-file). We use periodic boundary conditions for the streamwise direction. For this it is desireable that there is an exact translation between the grid points at both sides of the pipe. However, GAMBIT seems to add some random noise such that corresponding nodes don't coincide exactly. Is there any way to decrease this 'noise level' ? Thanks in advance Stijn |

Hey Stijn, You can link two faces or edges such that gambit creates the exact same mesh on both of them. There is a link button on the mesh panel under edges too.
