I used Tgrid for volume mesh for my geometry. I tried to mesh with prism layers and hex core in other regions. But I could not achieve this. I altered the parameters in Hexcore control panel. Still I get "hexcore mesh is failed". But prism layers are generated without any errors.

How to get the hexcore mesh?

Check the hexcore tutorials for settings. Make sure the max and min hex sizes are ok for the domain. Check you have created a new domain for the hexcore region from the prism cap.

I checked the settings and I followed the same steps mentioned in the tutorial. Still I could not mesh with hexcore and prism layers. Any options to overcome this?

I have one more clarification. after making tetra mesh, we can generate prism layers in the same mesh. Is it possible?
