Dear I need assistance regarding velocity angle in 3D. When in profiles i select any surface and ask the fluent to write velocity magnitudes along with velocity angle it gives the angle values between 0 to +2.9 and 0--2.9 etc .Now whether this angle is in radians or in deg. and what is the reference axis of this angle, all this is unclear. Second is that i have a meandering channel with floodplain which is straight and i want to get velocity values perpendicular to a cross section within the meandering channel. This section is not perpendicular to entire domain that is not with reference to global axes but local axes of that particular section of the meandering channel. Now how can I get velocities perpendicular to this x-section.
