Default Granular TempEqn-How to DisableLaminarExchangeTerm

Hello,

I use FLUENT 6.3 and try to model gas-solid (2 phase) flow (without any reaction taking place) using two fluid (or known as euler-euler) model. I am working in 2D (quite simple) domain.

I have a question about "granular temperature equation". Since I am not interested in turbulence modeling, I choose Model->Viscous Model->Laminar and as you know there is an exchange term at the right-hand-side of the equation which is added as -3*K*GranularTemperature (for laminar flows). Does anyone have any idea how to disable it? Or Should I write a source term UDF for granular temperature equation like â€"(-3KT)?

Many thanks…..

Again thank you so much……I have some more questions though:

1 ) I am not so familiar with TUI â€" text user interface

> (domainstvar 3 'gt/zero-drag? #t)

gt/zero-drag?

If I push "enter key", I get main menu:

> adapt/ file/ report/ define/ …. display/ …. exit ….. Does that mean it is done??

2) I have one more important question: I would also like to disable the collisional energy dissipation term from the same equation (which is defined from Lun's equation) and write mine as UDF. Do you know how should it be?

> (domainstvar 3 'gt/zero-??collisondiss?????? #t)

3) Where can I get more information on "dominsetvar" ? Because info is not available in fluent official tutorials.

Thank you in advance,

1- Yes that's what it should do, I believe you can check by typing

(domaingetvar 3 'gt/zero-drag?)

2- I don't know how to turn the collision dissipation term off. Is there any reason you want to do that? just curious.

This is "scheme" language and you can find more here, not in English though.
