Pressure and Flow Work

Hello all. I have a question regarding the treatment of kinetic energy and flow work in the energy equation using the segragted solver and was hoping someone here could provide clrification. In the FLUENT 6.3 manual it states that by default these terms are not included in the energy eqaution as they are negligible for incompressible flows. However it states that when a compressible model is being utilized these terms are always accounted for. I have been running simulations using the segregated solver with helium being treated as an ideal gas. Just to double check, I used the TUI (define/models/energy) to make sure these terms are included. Unfortunatly, it says that currently these terms are not being computed. Could someone please provide some clrification?! Is the manual wrong? --Ryan
