how to model multilayer problem?

Hello,

I'm trying to model a porous media problem in which there is fabric and on top of the fabric, there are other layers with different properties. So there is like 3 different layers on top of each other and they will be subject to fluid flow.

I have no idea on how to create these layers (either in Gambit or Fluent) and then assign different thickness(es) and material properties to these layers.

Please help.

Thanks a lot.

Hello Goker:

I have the same problem with you. Have you find any methods?

Hi,
you can do that either in FLUENT or GAMBIT.
you can easily create different fluid zones and in B.C. panel set different properties for them.
