Does anyone know where to find some good documentation on the equations solved by fluent 6.3 for granular phase multiphase models. regards lurk

Hi Lurk

Sorry I don't have proper solution to your problem. May I come to know about your working area i.e. problem definition??

I am currently working on Modelling of Circulating Fluidised Bed Boiler using FLUENT(Basically gas-solid two phase flow). In this I have to impose partial slip boundary condition for solids. Can you help in this if possible?

Thanx

are you using the mixdure model? i simulate a bubbeling fluidized bed. there i use the Eulerian model. and the model are ok, but when you are defining the particle properties there is no good documentation on the equations solved fore the different properties.

hi Lurk: i want to use fluent to simulate the two-phase slurry flow (liquid-solid)using the kinetic theory. i have some good documentation but don't know how to set up the viscosity of the granular flow. the fluent need to input Lennard-Jones parameters ( segma) and (epsilon/boltzmann constant). i don't have these parameters for the sand particles, can you help me in this issue. I think you ,I and Manish are working in the same field and will be very helpful for all of us to share our knowledge and information. my e-mail is: shebos@hotmail.com

I don't know, but these days i am taking my main theases in fluidized bed, and i an investigating the equations. I will tell you if i find out something -lurk
