Reading and Writing Boundary Conditions

Hi,

I'm using Fluent 6.3 and I want to apply the same boundary conditions for different cases. In my simulations, I am just varying the mesh and not the model or conditions.

How do I do that? I read that I could go to file -> write-bc, but there's no such option for me!!

Help!

Many thanks!!

Chen

Re: Reading and Writing Boundary Conditions

Try writing a journal file, and running it in TUI...so in that case , u just have to read different mesh file thats all, everything else will be taken care by the journal file..

Re: Reading and Writing Boundary Conditions

You can file --> write_bc from the text interface (TUI) only. In the text window, type: File then hit enter.... you should see multiple options. You want to write a boundary condition file, so type: write_bc

Yoiu then specify the file name you want for the boundary condition file (or it will default to the name "bcon"
