FOULING SIMULATION

Hi! I am using a eulerian-lagrangian aproach to simulate gas side fouling on a heat transfer surface.Particle loading is low and so the DPM_one-way approach is a good approach. So far, i can track injection files and store the mass flux of particles that reach the surface in a UDM. I would like to convert dirty cells into solid ones to simulate the augmented thermal resistance and the reduced cross section. Does anybody Knows if is possible convert the dirty cells of fluid into solid cells of fouling via UDF? Is there any other technique to introduce a temporal dimension in the simulation? Thanks in advance, any comment is wellcome.

Hi
I read your post and I'm interested in studying fouling with a cfd approach, so could you help me with some information please? |
