Which turbulence model to choose?
Hi folks,
was wondering if anyone can recommend any academic papers, articles or books which specify the advantages of certain models (e.g. k-epsilon, k-omega, RSM, etc)? I need to choose one for my university project, but need to back up my choice with valid reasons. hopefully someone out there can help. Regards, Si Del |

You should just look up the FLuent Documentation.

Re: Which turbulence model to choose?
There are two books which discuss turbulence modelling and give case studies and very good references. They are both introductory texts for CFD as a whole but WELL worth reading:
1) An introduction to computational fluid dynamics - the finite volume method. H. Versteeg, W. Malalasekra. 2nd edition is best. ISBN 0131274988 2) Computational Fluid dynamics - A practical approach - 2008, J. Tu. Good luck! Carlos. |
