hi,
i have a problem finding out how many nodes/element that was generated by the mesh. It comes out after you mesh it but how do we check after meshing? |

Check elements in the Mesh menu, it shows you th number of nodes for each edge, surface or volume (depending on the chosen menu). Then you have to make the sum.
I don't know if there is another method, hope it will help. |

You can directly get the number of cells or nodes or faces in Gambit. In mesh menus, there is always second last button which when showing i can be used to get that information. If you want to know number of elements in volume mesh, just go to volume mesh menu, click on the button with i, select the volume(s) and click apply. It will give you whole of the information.
