Plotting Contours of Experimental Data

Hi, I have an experimental data which I want to compare with my fluent results.. i'm interested in plotting contours of velocity (experimental data)on a plane How can i do that??

If you want to do this in Fluent you can structure your data like an 'interpolation' file and read it in Fluent.

you mean like a .dat file that fluent stores

Re: Plotting Contours of Experimental Data

go to file interpolate menu and write out a sample inlerpolate file. use the same format for your experiment data. read the data back as an interpolate file. you don't have to match the exact locations, fluent will interpolate between the data points.
