CFL

Hi, I simulated my model with the adaptive time stepping. I'd like to know the value of CFL. How can I do ? Thanks

Re: CFL

cfl is the ratio of fluidspeed to grid speed, and it should be in between 0 and 1 so you will be knowing the speed of the fluid u are using and the grid size choose an appropriate time step such that u get cfl in this range

Hi, Thanks for your reponse, Remesh. I agree with you about the CFL's definition. But I'd like to know the values of CFL which are provided by Fluent. Finally, I found them. In case you need the values, you can find them in :Contours--> Velocity--> Cell Courant Number.
