Hi - I'm trying to get a time variable velocity in blood flow to work in a stenosis model thingy..and I get that you need a transient profile, but I'm not sure how to get it to work properly.

Any hints or suggestions? I've been trying to figure this out on my own without much programming and Fluent experience, and it's been rough.. D:

Thanks! Michelle

you need to write a UDF in case you are using Fluent. If your profile is just time dependent it is no deal. If you are not familiar with UDF, take udf manual

good luck

by the way, there is time dependent profile

So would I just run the program in the konsole thing? What do I do after writing the program?

Thanks you so much! Michelle

I think it's better that you start reading the UDF manual, there you will find everything you need to implement the User Defind Functions.
