Is there any concrete example/tutorial on using LES and DES in Fluent? Can't find any in the official fluent users page.
Thank You, M |

i never found this material. However i performed DES and LES for my thesis and in my opinion is important a strong theoretical background and not other. (however realize a tutorial is difficult because these simulations require "too much" CPU-time)

Thanks for the reply, what was your thesis about?
I guess you did some comparisons with experimental values or RANS-based simulations to check for validity? |

My thesis was on Ranque-Hilsch effect. I did comparisions with RANS simulations and with other previous results avaible in literature. Comparisions with experimental resultus in my opionion is an open question.
