Default Backward flow in an artery when k-e is applied

Hi,

I am trying to simulate unsteady pulsatile flow in an artery with a protruding stent in the curved section. Althought the laminar solver displayed a realistic flow pattern, it lead to unconverged time steps during the peak (turbulent) section of the cycle. I have now applied the k-e model but now the flow appears to be originating from the outlets and flowing out of the inlet! Does anyone know why this might be?

Thank you
