Mesh edges for 2D regular shapes?

Hi folks,

I'm a newbie in gambit.

If I have a 2D irregular and I want to create mesh edges for it. How do I go about setting it?

I know for a rectangle, u can select 2 horizontal lines, set the interval size and similarly for the vertical lines. But I have no idea how to do it for a irregular shape, e.g. apple.

Please help me out here. Thanks and appreciated.

regards AL

Try using a triangular grid for irregular shapes, or split the domain into several parts that can each be meshed using a square scheme.

Have you done all the Gambit tutorials? If not you should do these, and if you have you should use them for a reference and apply the principles to your geometry.

Good Luck
