Custom Field Function

Is there any possibility to call a custom define function in the code of a UDF, instead of computing it in the Fluent window?
For instance, I would like to compute a surface integral, over a specific surface. I know how to make it in the Fluent window, but what if I want to compute it automatically after each time step for instance, and save the result in some file? There must be a way to make it, huh? Thanks! |

this can be easily done by setting up a surface monitor, which is under the solve menu, and setting it to write the data to a file after each time step.
