Hello, If it is possible i would like to calculate a burner that keeps the temperature of a liquid slagphase in a given range. Is there a way to couple 2-phase calculation with combustion and radiation? Which 2-phase model would you choose? Are there any limitations? I could not find a tutorial, or informations from fluent for such a case. Until now i did a lot of VOF calculations and some combustions but i never coupled them. thanks for any help Gernot

Hi,
When you have 2 phase combustion you would most probably have a oil-gas or gas-solid combustion. Both of these can be handled with Eulerian-Largangian approach. Give more details about the fuel and the case itself to get a better reply. Regards, Ant |
