I am trying to create a geometry in Gambit that consists of an inlet pipe carrying air, that dumps into a larger chamber of space. In the inlet I want to have a stack of straws (or something that resembles honeycomb, as a flow straightener). I was wondering how I might create these without disturbing the rules set in Gambit (i.e. intersecting faces, etc). Also, how might I implement the BC's for the straws? I want to be able to eventually view the velocity profile inside each straw (all of which form a larger nozzle).
Thanks, Tim |
