Default laminar flow over a cylinder

Hi everyone,

i am working on a problem about cross-flow over a cylinder(which is discussed in this forum, i know). My reynolds number is around 30000 so i would expect a laminar flow regime. however i am having trouble in having a converged solution. any guesses on the reason for this? it may be due to my mesh or my solution parameters. i do not know how to judge my mesh quality for laminar flow(no y+).

thanks a lot for advices.

Your reynolds number is too high to have laminar flow regime, it's under 2000...
