Default problem boundary profiles

Hi,

I want to use a radial boundary profile as the boundary condition for a velocity inlet in the shape of an annulus (ring) in a 3D simulation.

I've read in the radial profiles in fluent ,but for some reason fluent doesn't correctly interpolate the boundary profile onto the mesh. I use the cylindrical coords to specify the boundary condition. When i initialise the calculation and look at the interpolated data, fluent shows a constant value close to zero while the profile is quite different.

I think the problem has something to do with the fact that the the shape is an annulus. When i tried to read profiles for a jet in the shape of a circle, the interpolation went just fine.

Regards,

Rainy
