Hi everybody,

I'm working on a unsteady problem and I need to create a graphics showing the velocity evolution of a point in function of the time ( v=f(t) ). Is it posible in fluent to capture the information of velocity value for diferrent times in order to create a table and a graphic with this data ( using excel for example)?. I could define control points using the point surface utility but fluent give me only the velocity for the last time step.

Thanks in advance

Patricio

Hello,

You can use the "monitors" option. This option is in "Solve" menu. With this option, you can print, write and plot the time history at a point.

Hi

Along with the "Solve-->Monitors-->Surface" option, use the "File-->Write-->Autosave" option to save a case and a data file at every desired timestep.

Regards
