divergence in energy residuals

hi

I am solving the heat transfer and flow problem inside a notebook chassis. Although momentum and continuity residuals converges, my energy residual diverge. While calculating the iterations "temperature limited to 1 in ... cells" is written on the screen for different zones.

Any idea about this??? Thanks

I don't know all your bc concerning heat (generation/sink) but you could use the following: 1. reduce energy URF 2. limit temperature to the expected minimum - the "temperature limited to 300 in ... cells" may disappear during the solution

thanks sasha!!

i tried your advice, but it doesn't work. To be more clear about my bc's: in the system there are some component which generates heat, two fans which cools down a heat exchanger and natural convection is the bc for the chassis walls. The notebook system is modelled as a rectangular box.
