can we simulate y+

hi I m trying to simulate problem on solar air heater, as in case of solar air heater, heat transfer is enhanced by providing artificial roughness in the region, laminar sublayer. And the artificial roughness height is just more than laminar sublayer, so i want very fine mesh at bounadry region. that may be y+ < 1, I m confusing that whether fluent can able to capture the physics having y+ <1 or able to solve the equation for the same.

Thanks and regars

Re: can we simulate y+

y+ can t be l;ess than 1. u can start using y+ = 1 and then generate the mesh.
