Default Boundary Conditions for Stratified Pipe Flow

Hi there,

I am modeling gas/liquid stratified pipe flow using FLUENT VOF. The pipe geometry is divided into two parts in Gambit, based on some experimental data. The top part is initialized as gas and the bottom part as liquid. Velocity inlets are used for gas and liquid phases.

My question is, how to set up the outlet boundary condtions?

Any suggestions regarding the geometry, mesh, VOF scheme, and anything of modeling this kind of flow?

Has anybody done this before? Any related information?

Thanks a million in advance for any help.
