Hye! I am a new user of Fluent. Currently I`m using Fluent 6.1.22 and GAMBIT 2.1.6. I`m modeling a basic 3D heat transfer problem using Solver FLUENT 5/6. Unfortunately, I got this error " ERROR: volume sphere1 has higher order elements and cannot be exported to fluent 5 format. the mesh file was not created." Why did the Gambit choose Fluent 5 format instead of Fluent 6 format? What does the higher order elements mean? Please help me. Thanks in advance!

Where did you create your mesh? Gambit? What kind of elements did you use?
