UDF of tube moving with pendulum motion -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

Esther Guest Posts: n/a	Hello, I'm working on a tube which is moving with a pendulum motion around the y-axis of the coordinate system. The origin of the coordinate system is located at the top of the tube on the symmetry axis (three dimensional) with the x and y-axis pointing towards the tube border and the z-axis pointing through the tube. The equation describing the motion is simply: omega = -theta_zero wsin(w*t). Therefore i have to create an UDF. I tried with DEFINE_GRID_MOTION and DEFINE_CG_MOTION, but it didn't work. It would be great if somebody could help me with this problem. Thanks a lot.
