Has anybody used Fluent to simulate the capillary effect in porous media? my provider (a really nice gentleman) suggests me use UDF.

I'd like to hear your cost experiences if possible before I kick myself into the pores.

is there any certificated theoretical explaination on the subject? what I found is that the problem involved mulptiphase fluids (actually displacement between fluids)microscopically and affect the the non-force driven flow through the porous medium macroscopically.

if Fluent cannot do this, any other choices? or shall I need to write my own code.

Appreciated for your kind help
