Pressure Force Integral

Hi, does anyone know how exactly Fluent calculates the pressure force on a surface? I'm presumming it is the integral of static pressure over the surface, yet when I perform this integral, the value it gives is very different to the pressure force reported. My model is simulating the flow around a gear rotating about the x-axis. I have tried reporting the force about 1,0,0, and also about the centre of the surface in question, and neither gives a value that bears any resemblance to the integral of static pressure. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated Steve

Hi Steve,
it's been a while, but have you found a solution to your problem?
i'm calculating the flow over a wing and have the same problem.....
cheers
