Hello everyone, I am writing an UDF in which I need to calculate the X wall shear stress. I know that there isn't a dedicated macro; one can just accesses to the velocity gradient vectors (G_U_G and G_V_G). Does anybody know how I can do? my simulation is laminar, 2d and my fluid is incompressible. Thank you very much for any help!

hello Elisa
F_STORAGE_R_N3V(f,thread,SV_WALL_SHEAR) will return a vector for each face on wall boundaries with components representing the shear stresses in xyz-directions. cheers Max |
